FIBROMYALGIA

Fibromyalgia involves the musculoskeletal system. Through prolonged emotional stress or physical trauma, a biochemical change occurs in the myofacial tissue. Myofacial tissue is the thin filmy material that surrounds each tiny muscle fiber; then surrounds bundles of these fibers creating muscle; then attaches the muscle to the bone.


This biochemical change appears as a calcification or tightening of the myofacia. The tissue becomes thick and looses its elasticity, restricts muscle movement and causes pain.

This widespread pain and decrease in movement creates a chain reaction: fatigue, insomnia, morning stiffness, non-refreshing sleep, headaches or migraines, irritable bladder and bowel, heat, cold, light and sound sensitivity, all over numbness and tingling with weakness, exercise intolerance, anxiety, depression, minor agoraphobia and claustrophobia with decreased muscle/brain communication.

Evening Primrose and rosehip seed oils have been included for their soothing and cellular regenerating properties.
