SHASTA NATURALS AROMATHERAPY was established in 1994. Susan
Strain, founder and Chief Executive Officer, lived in Mt. Shasta
City in Northern California for a number of years. Her profound
connection to Mother Nature, the sacredness of the mountain
and her Native American heritage have melded in the creation
of an holistic aromatherapy product line revered for quality
and beneficial results. Her expertise in cosmetic manufacturing
began in 1970. Susan's knowledge includes purchasing, production
management, administration, sales, safety compliance and logistics. After
functioning as Director of Purchasing for one of the largest
aromatherapy companies in the natural products industry, she
discovered her interest in natural ingredients and began an
intensive study of the healthful properties of essential oils. Through
her participation in medical aromatherapy seminars, she networked
with brokers who supply medical grade, all organic essential
oils to physicians and pharmacists in Europe. These connections
enabled her to source therapeutic grade natural ingredients
for the MT. SHASTA NATURALS AROMATHERAPY product line. As a
purist, Susan knows that true therapeutic quality aromatherapy
has an amazing potential to increase the quality of one's life. After
formulating numerable synergies, she discovered that she has
a natural gift of hands that heal. As a way of directing that
gift, she became a Reiki Master/Teacher and now applies Reiki
